Environmental Protection

Global Roto Sheka is committed to preserving the environment and minimizing our environmental footprint.

Environmental considerations are part of every decision-making process in the company and we are careful to comply with all environmental rules and regulations.

When we established a new factory in the Caesarea industrial area in 1994, all aspects of environmental preservation, such as water, air, and fire, were taken into consideration from the planning stage on, including:

Water

The plant is located partly on the coastal aquifer, a regional groundwater source.

The factory was planned to ensure that drainage and sewage are completely disconnected from the production floor.

The products of the recycling facility are returned for use in the production facilities.

Air

As of 2018, an advanced and innovative RTO system has been operating to reduce the amount

of emitted solvents, which includes a continuous monitoring unit  ( visible to the public)

The system meets all the emission permit requirements dictated by the Ministry of the Environment and under its supervision,

The company has Emission Permit No. 1344 dated 20/7/22 and is valid for 7 years,

The company also has Toxic Materials Permit numbered 40241 valid until 18/5/26 .

In addition ,the company carries out a series of ongoing actions to reduce the use of organic solvents.

Fire

In all inspections, our results exceed European standards, and none of the exhaust gasses in the factory contain Halogen.

All factory cooling systems are closed systems disconnected from the drainage and sewage systems.

Raw materials and flammables are kept in standard concrete coating to prevent flammable materials from spilling, in case of leakage.
The factory is equipped with state-of-the-art fire extinguisher systems, powder and foam systems, and an independent water reservoir.

Waste disposal

We use an advanced, closed system to separate the diluter excess and sludge from our processes that has reduced our plant waste by 45%.

Dry waste (plastic material mixture) is mostly recycled, and only a minimal amount is buried in authorized sites.

The products of the recycling facility are returned for use in the production facilities.
